We Fundraised $3,045 for BEAM!!!

Hi Family-

Tonight my heart is so full, and I am overwhelmed with appreciation to announce this news!

For those of you who don’t know, this past Thursday, June 4th, we sponsored a Tone House class to raise funds for BEAM.

BEAM stands for Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective.

BEAM’s Vision:

BEAM envisions a world where there are no barriers to Black Healing.

BEAM’s Mission:

BEAM’s mission is to remove the barriers that Black people experience getting access to or staying connected with emotional health care and healing. We do this through healing justice based organizing, education, training, grant making and advocacy.

Collectively, we fundraised $3,045!!!!

Below is a list of everyone who donated. What astounds me is that more than half of the individuals who donated did not even take the class, yet wanted to help make a difference— and for that, I am beyond grateful.

Janie Yoo, Anthony Salamone, Yasmeen Ibrahim, Adam Leslie, Christina Bau, Andrew Chrisomalis, James McMillian, Andrew Herman, Luiza Faria, Kat Powers, Ellie Bruce, Priscilla Oh, Rachel Lee, Salina Sabri, Sara Thellman, Miles Brenwood, Mia Kandalaft, Chelsea Maguire, Alexys Turmac, Rachael Scaramuzzino, Lindsey Dragelin, Marshall Johnson, Hana Yagi, Chad Ford, Logan Wenzler, Karina Case, Taylor Kiely, Le Anne Ahern, Lucy Smith, Ari Jasmine, Joshua Scott, Katie Hochfelder, Sean Barber, Dilia Barboza, Maura Cyrus, Era Kurtaliaj, Gene Davis, Hannah Miller, Hafsa Zahran, Jordyn Kessel, Anna Wong, Dawn Vasti, Ashley Johnson, Mollica Am, Asha Judah, Sofia Roman, Ruxanda Wehr, Brendan O'Grady, Priscilla Tan, Taida Smailhodzic, Jess Simon, Brad Michaelson, Rebecca Throne, Isabelle Gerard, Nicola Duffy, Billy Chan, Hannah Kerin, Andrew Cliff, Jack Wallice, Jordan Williams, Mathias Andersson, Will McCullough, Mo Hussain, Alex Arena, Breanna Heiser, Tamika McMillian, Cindy Morand, Ashley Porter, Afroditi Lishman, Sara Choit, Jimmy Currie, Tatiana Luna, Kristie Larson, Chelsea Spatz, Adaze Udoji, Niklas Beckles, Christina Di Rocco, Dominic Farina, Felicia Abban, Paola Del Hierro, Iden Kurtaliaj, Claire Lowe, Melanie Bannout, Nick Greenberg, Jenil Rosario, Miles Norris, Carmen Loo, Xiao Cui, Alice Pang, Zoje Azeke

The consideration and heart we have in this community are what inspire me to keep going every single day.

In case you missed it, I had said before our workout- needless to say, there is a lot going on, and we are going through a lot of pain. The world needs reform and healing. But always remember that a society is made up of homes and homes are made up of individuals. We must not stop taking care of ourselves in times of chaos, because when we ensure self-love and self-care are met, we are in the best position to care of those around us, and make the world a better place, as well,.

My friends, keep up your own self-care and health routines during this time, so we remain a healthy group, and can continue to impact the world around us. <3

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you are going through a difficult time and need any extra assistance or resources.

With so much love,

Marysol
